Street Games 2008 presents an exciting venue for artists to perform in front of a diverse, urban crowd that includes families and children of all ages. The purpose of the event is to reintroduce classic “street games,” including stick ball, skully, and box ball, to a current generation of kids as an alternative to video games. Street Games will also feature live performances, including tricks by a Yo-Yo master, an exhibition game by the New York Emperor’s Stickball League and double-dutch champs.
